Some people have real problems. I replaced the garbage disposal. The one in the sink. It took a while to get the old one off, I was hoping to not have to replace the flange but all the banging to get the old one off seemed like the right thing to do. Also, the new one wouldn’t fit on without having to remove the built in splatter guard thing. After getting the old one off the rest of the process took maybe 20 mins. Real fast when everything it there and ready and you read the instructions a thousand time in-between trying to loosen the dang thing. Having an agent boil down the instructions and highlight the easy to fuck up parts also feels like a shortcut. A good one.
